Details test and examination criteria for combination gas controls, for gas appliances that have a maximum operating gas pressure of 1/2 psi. A combination gas control is defined as an assembly of two or more different functions, at least one of which conveys gas in a single unit without the use of pipe nipples. These include manually operated gas valve(s), a gas pressure regulator, automatic valve(s), a thermostat (other than an electric type), ignition system components and an automatic gas shutoff device.
